About SL Motorcycle Training
We train riders to the standards set by the MCIAC and the DVSA, from people who’ve never sat on a bike to experienced riders coming back after years away.
We are a women-owned business. We teach on manual and automatic bikes, and we have female instructors.

SL Motorcycle Training is run by director Sarah Gregory. In 2018, during Women’s Empowerment Month, Sarah was named Business Woman of the Year and Outstanding Woman of the Year.

Our service pledge
What you can expect from us, and what we ask of you.
When you visit
- We’ll greet you politely and help with any access or language needs as best we can.
- We’ll give you advice to help you reach your goal.
- We’ll give you a bike that suits you for your CBT, geared or automatic.
When you phone
- We aim to answer 80% of calls within five rings.
- We reply to voicemail messages within one working day.
When you write or email
- We acknowledge letters and emails within three working days.
- If a full reply will take more than ten working days, we’ll tell you why.
- We reply in plain English, and phone you if it’s urgent.
If we get it wrong
- We’ll try to put it right straight away and explain what happened.
- We’ll agree a solution where we can, and learn from it.
What we ask of you
Please treat our staff and premises with respect, give us the information we need to help you, tell us about any access or language needs, and give us honest feedback so we can improve.
